Maine will make a decision to commit to the Transportation Climate Initiative (TCI) in the spring of 2020. If, at that time, Maine signs the final Memorandum of Understanding, the state will then work towards the goal of having the agreement established under our laws and regulations by the end of 2020, with the permitting system in effect in January of 2022.
