I suggest doing this trail as one-way, and youll need to hike up the Peralta Trail before giving it a whirl. There are many spots where you can see both east (towards Four Peaks and Superstition Wilderness) and west (towards Phoenix) and its moments like those that remind you why you're about to hike 20+ miles.
